it’s inspired by the original rainbow flag, which has become more of a symbol of general pride, but with a few twists, and bringing back a few of the less used colours. some of the meanings have also been changed for this flag specifically (as the colours have traditionally represented multiple things). i wanted to base it around the rainbow because it’s a theme that is connected to gay men, the colours are also easy to come by and recognisable.
this flag is intended for gay men and non woman nb people who are (only) attracted to men/non woman aligned ppl.
this flag includes gay trans men and nb gay men, as well as she/her gay men.

For those Men who read this blog and who belong to the gay camp I will post this.
I constantly get questions from gay and trans Men asking about Manliness.
My answer:
Fighting produces and nurtures Manliness.
Maniness is possible for all Men, regardless of their self concept (CIS, trans, gay, bi, etc)
My message is a pretty simple one.
All Men should know how to fight.
This is very important, especially for Men who are singled out in our Consumer Culture as targets for abuse, attack and discrimination.
This is a daily painful reality for these Men.
So its very important to learn and practice a fight skill to protect yourself and those you love.
A few years ago I had a close friend who lost his life walking 2 girls home from a bar in Philadelphia. He was jumped by two Men and because he didn’t know how to defend himself he suffered a blow to the head, hit the ground, lost consciousness and died a few hours later. He would be alive today if he had fight skills.
So this very sad episode is part of the reason why I keep this fight blog, especially for Men who are targets for abuse and attack.
I believe all Men should have a “hard” side to them. It can be kept under wraps, especially if you like being a soft Man.
But, for your own safety, nurture that hardness.
You will never know when you will be called upon to use it to save your own life or the lives of those you care about and love.

I’m a trans man, and I began fighting with MMA 9 years ago as a way to alleviate dysphoria since fighting is absolutely manly. When I came out, I realized just how important my self-defense skills would be in the future.
I’ve been followed several times before, even in broad daylight and public. People give threatening glares all the time, and though nobody has ever assaulted me, it’s relieving knowing I can and will kick the everloving shit out of likely anybody who attempts an attack. It’s comforting to know I can protect myself, and it’s comforting knowing fighting alleviates my dysphoria so much. It’s my biggest outlet, training and combat. It’s all positives for me, nothing negative.
Please, learn to protect yourselves, trans brothers, sisters, and siblings. Protection is the most essential thing you can have, and if you dislike fighting I pray you never have to use it. You likely won’t have to, but everyone should learn self-defense just in case.
